Nathalie Litzner (*1995) received her first violin lessons at the age of 6. Between 2007 and 2018, she played in various orchestras and ensembles (most recently in the youth symphony orchestra of the Tonhalle Düsseldorf.)
Although she never aspired to a musical career, her work with Tovte quickly developed into one of her most important professional pillars.

In addition to classical music, she has also worked on CD recordings by singer-songwriters and participated in various musical projects by students at Deutsche POP and IMM Düsseldorf. In 2015, as part of the “Jesuit Volunteers” program, she supported the music lessons of several violin classes at the Ghandi Ashram School in Kalimpong, India. Here she gave individual and group lessons and also took over the direction of the ensemble. In addition to her musical participation in Tovte, she is also responsible for PR and promotion, as well as the cover design of the first CD “Krawalle und Lieder”.

Nathalie is a founding member of Tovte (2012) and played the violin for the first 8 years of the ensemble, initially in the trio line-up with Tobias Gubesch and Leonhard Spies. She discovered an interest in other string instruments, especially the viola, for which she has been a permanent member since 2020.
